After working hard on one layer and realizing I need to move about half the content into another layer, I'm curious if a feature exists to duplicate a layer?

That or, select part of one layer using shift, then paste it down onto a different layer that has the same tile sheet.

In a similar vein, I'd also like to be able to press alt-drag to create copies of entities.

Bump, because alt-dragging for making copies would be super useful.

Someone pointed out to me a while ago that if you select an entity and press "C" it makes a copy right next to it. This isn't quite alt-drag, but is the next best thing.
