HI everyone,
Ever since I've been young I've been obsessed with grappling hooks. I don't know why, maybe it was watching too much of Adam West's Batman...
Anyway, I've always wanted to make a game with a grappling hook and I finally managed to using Impact!
It's a infinite side scrolling game where you collect the secret scrolls of your ancestors while dodging the ghosts of the ancient evil spirits...
Let me know what you think!
I should point out also that I wrapped it using CocoonJS which made things really easy!
It looks and sounds cool. It might just be me, but I find it irritating to have to install a Google Play app just to try it out. Is there a HTML version that I can look at in the browser?
I totally understand it would be annoying to have to install the app to see it in action. Here's a link to the browser based version :)

It's a cool little game. Simple, which probably helped you finish it. As for grappling hooks, I made one in shop class in high school. It was extremely heavy and dangerous.
That made me laugh lots! My wife has previously stated that should i ever aquire a real grappling hook i would pose a real threat to humanity, being that i can barely make it a block without spilling coffee over myself...
I wanted to get to grips with writing a game and so tried something simple that was still interesting to me. I hope for my next game to be a little more in depth :)

Hi Gamerdrome, would you like to share how long you have been spent on making this?
Hi, sorry for the slow reply. This was the first game I ever made but I'm pretty good with JavaScript. Just saying that to give some context to how long it took in relation to my skills.
In total it took me 3-4 weeks to build what became the release.
