Just to let you know my first iOS game just got released - I used iOSimpact to package it and deliver to the AppStore.

t’s time to Unleash The Fury!

The head chef of this quaint inner city restaurant must keep his cool and stay calm under the pressure of the inevitable dinner rush in this fast paced, food catching retro mini game.

Helping the chef catch meats and vegetables in his saucepan is no easy task.
If you can’t stand the heat? Explode in a violent rage as you unleash the fury and destroy objects to maximise scores and rack up massive combo multipliers.

With a unique bronze, silver and golden chef hat ranking , work alongside the hardest working Masterchef in the world as you battle through 10 different levels; ranging from calm lazy days of catching potatoes to avoiding bowling balls and explosive dynamite.

In the tradition of Game and Watch hand held games, and retro thumb bashing arcade gameplay Kitchen Fury unleashes-

-Addictive gameplay – fun for all ages!
-Simple controls
-Beautiful cartoon style graphics and animations
-Developed exclusively for the iPhone using HTML 5

Very nice!

Mechanics are very well done, easy to understand. Playing on an iPad 2 with iOS 5.0 it feels native. Really great game.

Only problem I had was when I tried to use the social links. The Facebook share button opened up my fb app, but didn't populate the status. The twitter button just back grounded the app but never took me anywhere to post.

p.s. The cheif doing kung fu as a bonus at the end of the level is extremely fun.

Did you use Impact JS for the game, or just iOSimpact for packaging your own javascript game?

Would Direct Canvas in appMobi improve the graphics when rotating ? That's the only thing that looks like JavaScript, because you can see the pixels when objects rotate.

I liked the game at first, but after about 10 minutes I felt like I had done everything you could do and it wasn't challenging anymore. Nice integration of cartoon graphics and sound, and simple, responsive game play using only thumbs.

Yes i used impactjs.

The social integration works only with apps (poop) so if you have an app for twitter and fb it should open and populate at least this is what it did on my devices. But with next update I'll change it to open the browser rather than app.

Take into account that the game is targeted at kids and there is pretty much nothing I could add extra to use the mechanics in place. It's a mini game for when you have couple minutes to spare. DirectCanvas wouldn't change anything I think as they are pretty much the same.

I tested it on iPhone/ipad2 from 3GS to 4s all features worked well including fb/twitter so I'm surprised it doesn't fire yours.

Game runs at 54-60 fps on 3GS up btw. I'm assuming similar or minimal variations on iPods. You'll need iOS 4.3 to play. If anyone bought it on iPod touch please let me know how it runs I'll very much like to know as I didn't test it on any if the iPod touch devices.

It's a great mini game for kids, and another nice example of how flexible ImpactJS is. It's not just another platformer with different graphics.

Well you are pretty much restricted only by your imagination... Platformers aren't the only one kind of games you cando with impact. I will be working on a Platformer but I want it to be top notch. I can only say it will be a'la shank. But before that I have couple of mini games in the pipeline.

All the mini games are pretty much a coding exercise and bits from each of them will be in the final big project

@TylerAppmobi - Yeah I've checked the game - its the difference in fb/twitter apps for iPhone and the iPad - this is the reason you dont get to update the status. It updates fine on iPhone.
