Hello, I was wondering if it was at all possible to have a sort of camera zoom in and out effect, like as seen in a lot of Sega Saturn side scrolling games, like Silhouette Mirage, Assault Suit Leynos 2, or Astal? If so: how hard would it be to implement something like that into a game made with Impact?
I don't think there is a built in method to do this, however, it would be a nice feature to have in the near future. :)

That's too bad. Here is hoping it does get added, like you said.

It's hard to do and there's no one solution that will work well for every type of game. Long answer here:

Would using the image.js method show the zooming in/out? Or would it just instantly switch the size of the pixels on screen?
I'm still in the very beginner's stages of learning programing, so I guess if it's hard to do then I'll just have to forget about it. But I hope you can someday figure out a solution to make it a built-in future.
