my sound will sometimes just stop working, sometimes for a specific sound, sometimes for all sounds. the only solution i have found is to kill the browser and restart it. the same thing happens in both chrome and safari on my mac, and chrome on my linux box.

has anyone else seen this?

Chrome quits playing sound altogether for me after a little bit and restarting the browser fixes it. I've brought this up along with Chrome failing to load my games in Linux and MacOS on Chrome Dev Channels. No good responses yet...

I'm having a similar issue (latest Chrome on OS X) where an action's sound will play most of the time but not all (probably 75%). Works fine in Firefox.

happens to me with Chrome 11 OSX sometimes. Play halfway through, HTML5 sound collapses entirely. Every other browser is perfect.

guys, try using SoundManager 2 if you're serious about giving the user a good audio experience

fugufish do you have any demos of this being implemented in a project? I cant wrap my head around how to get it setup properly.
