Hey guys,
We did a video tutorial on some functions that may come in handy while using Box2D.

We are planning on doing more, and if you have anything you would like a tutorial on (ImpactJS, Box2D, or appMobi integration), let us know!

Thanks Tyler. Nicely done.
I'll be looking into putting my game onto Appmobi. I'm interested in how to best integrate sound so that it functions on iOS and other mobile. That may be something others are interested in too.
yep, a tutorial on integrating sound would be awesome. (with respect to performance). For eg: how to set background music and allow for sound effects.
We're working on a video about implementing our sound API today, I'll post when we get it on youtube :)

Do you provide the source code & asset for all of your game demo on Appmobi site ? would be nice if you do, easier to learn that way :P

Here you can get a slightly older version of Furious Fowl assets. I'll work on prettying up the code in FuriousFowl 3.0 assets and make a new bundle to put on that page.
Hopefully that helps :)
looking forward to the sound tutorial!

Heres the Tutorial!
Any more suggestions for future videos let me know :)

Thanks for the sound tutorial Tyler. Just got a chance to see it. Also saw and heard your follow up video with the actual devices. That will be useful down the road.

Hey i am new to impact and trying to implement that background view like u did in that first tutorial how do u get it in weltmeister to show the background? and i have one question about collision with Box2D, i am trying to subclass b2.ContactListener but the thing i cant figure out where i should locate the subclass. Can u guide little bit with that thanks a lot. The tutorial is awesome!!!
Hey bionur,
I'm not 100% sure what you mean about the background view. If you're talking about how to make a background in impact in general, it's all done with tiles and you can watch a short video we made a while ago to show how to do that.

I saw you seemed to figure out the second question so good job!

Hi TylerAppMobi, What is the program you used to test your games into a mobile?..
Screenshot ->
Hey Phoxer,
appMobi is the company I work for. We allow people to create native apps for iOS and Android using HTML5. The emulator is called the XDK, you can download it for free in the chrome store
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/onmkoldigcfmebcinpmineoadckalllb
We also make a technology called directCanvas, which accelerates HTML5 games on mobile devices to run about 4-10 times faster. Heres some info on that :
