Hey Impact Community, I just released a Facebook app done using the wonderful Impact game engine. It's calling Falling Friends, its a twist on Tetris. Big thanks to Dominic for making the game engine!

How it was made
Hosting provided by Heroku
Engine for the game is ImpactJS, all menus done via HTML5 and jQuery
High Scores done via Scoreoid
Platform is facebook only atm, Android coming soon

Bugs and Feedback
This is my first app released on facebook, so there are bound to be bugs. Let me know if you find any.

I tried a round and didn't try very hard. Was able to get a 50k+ score... probably could have let it gone on forever as it was just counting up constantly after the game was over.

The "control +/-" thing is a bummer... probably because of the way facebook does things no doubt.

Yeah, facebook's canvas setup is a bit... constraining.

As for score and difficulty, I went for a very casual approach, as the audience I'm targeting isn't really the type that would have original tetris machines in their basements.

As for the counting up, it's just an animation that advances towards your current score.

It wasn't just animation.. I was able to post a huge score to my wall without doing anything. It would have kept going if I let it.

I haven't tried to replicate it since. When it freaked out the friend portrait on the score screen was "flickering" like it was stuck in some sort of loop. That's about all I remember when it happened.
