Hi guys!

What is your approach to hiding address bar on mobile devices? Dominic has wrote nice art about making of X-Type, but unfortunately there is no words about hiding address bar, so I am curious, what is the best and most solid method.

I found something called Zynga Viewporter, but noticed some problems with this, when I try it with my game. I can't get back the address bar, it shows for a small % of second and disappear in less than 0.2s.

Not sure about Android, but for iOS I believe this cannot be done. Not in Safari anyway.

However, give iOS Impact a shot and that's a whole other story.

It can be done in Mobile Safari, but only if user, adds it to homescreen.

If you use safari simple window.scrollTo(0,1) will suffice you can always use meta tag and save it to your home screen then each time it will open in full screen otherwise use iosimpact and Xcode
