impact 1.18, chrome, osx:

I'm following dominic's vimeo pong tutorial, and am not able to save the level I created with weltmeister:

Chrome reports: the page at 192.168.0.111 couldn't write file to ../../../lib/game/levels/main.js

Ummm... You are running it on local web server environment? Like Mamp.

In your Sites folders make sure your permissions allow read and write. This happened to me with Impact and for some reason one or more of my folders were read-only.

instead of the number 192.168.0.111 you can use localhost~/yourname

That was exactly it. Talk about a misleading error message. I had to enable read-write-execute permissions of lib/game/levels/ for others (rwxr-xrwx) for saving to work (group perms didnt seem to matter).

PS @jerczu: No. Just enabling OSX web sharing in System Prefs, thus starting a local apache server.
