I realized that on chrome and on firefox there is a drop in the framerate from 65-70 to 30 just if i scale up the browserwindow. The canvas-size itself stays the same of course.
Havent tested this on other impact-games yet.

So are the browsers updating the whole <html> area when updating updating the canvas ?

Can anyone approve this issue ?

Yes, the browsers are updating the DOM, and the canvas layer is just one of the DOM elements. I think that's why appMobi's DirectCanvas technology, for packaging games into native apps, is so fast. It doesn't render DOM elements except for the canvas. At least this is how I understand it.
