Hi,
I've updated my 1st gen iPad to iOS 5 beta today, and as you might know Apple worked on Safari by adding tabs, which might suggest they did some under the hood work as well. I haven't tested performance changes with iOS 4/5, so feel free to post links to your baked demos/examples and I'll report back what FPS I get.
