There any chance to see trial or demo to try before buy?

There's no real way to do a trial or demo because the entire framework is just JS classes. This originally annoyed me before I made the purchase.

There's so many examples and game demos on this site that you can get a good idea of what you can do with impact. There's a lot of tech demos online and a few good books that explain how to do stuff as well. You can find a lot of good information on just about how to do anything on the forum if you search and there are some smart people on the site too.

In a year after making the purchase, I've made a handful of games and made the license cost back very quickly.

I guess i don't understand your problem? Are you unsure wether your knowledge of JS will carry you through to the end product of a game for an engine that was written expressly for JS?

Are you hoping that impact will shield you from having to write JS? It wont. The better you know JS the easier time you will have working with it. The less you know, the more you will struggle.

I wouldn't say there is a barrier to entry or a "okay now I know enough about JS" to get started with impact. There are a few example games that come with the engine to pick apart and tweak variables here and there to really get a feel for how everything is working. Plus there are help forums here - and trust me there is no shortage of JS help on the internet.

Impactjs is also not a program, it's a collection of JS classes that make up a framework, similar to Jquery or phaser.js. There isn't an application that you open similar to Contstruct or Gamesalad. You have to write your own code in a text editor.

I don't say this to scare you, but so you understand what you are getting involved with. JS is very powerful and easy to pick up and you can create some very cool stuff with impactjs, but you do need to be comfortable with coding yourself, or doing some google searching or asking for help.
