Hey all,

I am working on a game that requires the player to utilize guile. I want to provide a way for NPC's to slowly spot the player the longer the player is in their view. Sort of along the lines of Metal Gear or Hitman. I would guess that you would draw a ray of some sort from the NPC to the player and, the closer they are would speed up the time the player is spotted.

This would be top-down for now as this would really be my first real game (played with the impact engine before and went through the HTML5 Game Dev book... full time freelance programmer here).

Any help would be appreciated :)

So I guess you're looking for a partner to develop the game with you or something? :)
