This is probably a stupid question, but I'm working on an application on spec and one of the requirements is that it runs fully compatible with a LAMP Stack.
Is impactJS just fine with that?

If by LAMP stack, you mean a server running Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP,
then yes, ImpactJS works perfectly on such a server.
The ImpactJS files are served by Apache, which is running on your Linux server. But the files are actually executed in the browser, since it ImpactJS is just JavaScript drawing on an HTML 5 canvas.
