I just bought an Impact license a week ago, and so far I am loving it!
The only gripe I have with Impact so far has to do with Weltmeister and how to select/paint tiles onto a level. My tileset uses 16x16 tiles, but has things like trees and other decor which are made up from 4 16x16 pixel tiles. So in order to paint one tree, I have to press Space 4 times, and select the appropriate tile, every time I want to paint a tree into the level.
The work around is to create a new layer with a different tilesize, and then paint decor and other objects that way, but it feels clunky and not intuitive.
So I suggest that a feature be added which makes it possible to paint multiple tiles simultaneously while painting a level in Weltmeister. You bring up the tileset by pressing Space, and can select multiple tiles by clicking and dragging over the tiles you wish to draw. Once the mouse button is released, the tile selector disappears and you can paint your 64x64 tree with a single click.
