hi peeps
anyone here making games full time?
Part time here... average around 3-4 hours a day, 7 days a week. Trying very hard to make it full time. ;)
@Graphikos - what's the prerequisite that you'll go full time? if the games make enough to supplement living costs?
Pretty much. I'm a free-lance web developer so if I can get to the point that I don't have to take on new jobs then I'd be doing it more full time.

In terms of paid work, part time (going to 2 days a week when I get back from GDC) - though this is serious games, I'm not sure if that's what you had in mind. Web design and online marketing the rest of the time.
In terms of non-paid work (ie trying to make my own non-serious games), I've been spending anywhere between about 3 and 6 hours per day after paid work over the past couple of months.
@lazer define your version of serious games?

@fugufish Games that are used by mining companies, for example, to train and test staff. It could be anything from inductions to site training to teaching safety procedures etc.
Hello
I guess you have to quite good developer to work in full time with it.
By the way, we have requirements about some games, im looking someone around to collaborate with us. Anyone interested, please let me know.
