I'm with Gamerholic.com, we are looking to add html5 games to our site. Gamerholic.com is a competitive gaming service were gamers play for cash and prizes so your game must have a high score system that will report the score to our database (along with the user name). Facebook integration a plus. facebook.com/gamerholic

This is a great way to monetize your game. Earn $0.05- $0.10 each time your game is played. This is NOT an ad revenue sharing service.

Do the authors get any benefits for doing so?

There seems to a lot of online stuff saying nasty things about gamerholic.

Well, given that so far all I see is 'I want your hard work for others to play and they get cash prizes for doing so...' which means if the players get cash, the host must be too. And if you want my work to make money off, I definitely want some.

Taking a brief look around the site, I know I wouldn't want to contribute anything there in the first place, it's not exactly the sort of site I'd want to be associated with... but that's just me, maybe it's me being a snob, I dunno.

Yea... game "gambling" site. Meh.

I'm wondering how you want a high score system implemented in JS/html5 and want it to be secure?

Same way you do it in Flash or Java (since they're about as easy to get at the source), you put as much logic as you can get away with on the server.

Seems like these guys are not serious. Looking at the fact that they have not reposted since their original post 2 weeks ago. meh.

Feels more and more like spam when people do this. There was new piece of "spam" recently posted with the same idea.
