I am having a tad bit of trouble with installing impact.
1.) I don't have an entities folder when unpacking.
2.) The level editor doesn't work.
3.) Plusplus also is not installing.
1. You're not supposed to have an entities folder to begin with, but if you create one in the same way as seen in the samples, impact will recognize the folder without any further configuration.
2. Are you just double-clicking on the HTML file for the level editor? Because that won't work, you need to run it on a local (or any other kind of) server. I use
this python script for that purpose, but there are many alternatives. For more information, check out
the impact installation documentation.
3. I'm confused by what you mean about Impact++. It doesn't come with the original package, and installing it is as simple as dragging a few files into the correct locations. Regardless, make sure the original package is working before you advance to adding Impact++, and then start checking out the instructions
here.
I also felt this video was incredibly useful. Give it a look if you want to get a feel for how these different folders and files fit together:
http://impactjs.com/documentation/video-tutorial-create-a-game.
Allow me to explain my problem more fully. I have downloaded the Uniform Server in the (C:) directory in my folder. Once downloaded I went and unpacked impactjs into the www folder that is inside of the Uniform Server. I have turned the server on, but when I go localhost that has the level editor inside of it I only see the options to save and to load on the right hand side of screen.
I didn't know anything I about the entities folder and I am sorta of in the dark about everything about impactjs. I will watch the links and re-read the installation process to impactjs. I hope your reply will be just as speedy as the last time. If you are not able to answer then know I am grateful for the advice.
Also I have downloaded and followed all the steps but I didnt notice any changes and/or know is there suppose be any.

One of the better ways to get familiar with Impact is to download one of the example games on the download page, and look how it has been put together.
Another good way is to follow a video tutorial series such as
this one.
