An Ejecta project runs fine on one device (an iPhone 5) but on another device (iPod 4th generation), it hangs at the loading-bar screen after about 90% loaded.

Where can I check for errors, to see what the problem is, for the second device?

if you have the phone connected to Xcode, the error log is visible in Xcode when running the build. The older iPhones won't load graphics that are too large, I think it makes at 1024x1024 but don't quote me. It could also be a sound file depending on the iOS version, I usually get the lock up with sound files towards the end of the initial load.
