I have three sample (baked) uploaded to a website to illustrate the issue.

sound-off.html plays just fine in Safari on Mac
music-off.html flickers to while screen briefly when very first sound file is played (a shoot sound). After that first flicker the game seems to play sfx sounds just fine (but no music).
music-on.html will load, then jump to page reload, load, then jump to page reload, then load.... until Safari has had enough and puts up a message.
I find no mention of javascript errors in the web developer console. Doesn't mean I didn't screw something up. Just means I didn't do anything that Safari could detect :)
Is this like a totally well-known problem and I should not expect anything different?
Or, do people "in the know" have some trick for making this work?
The game by the way is kind of like a work out dojo. We are having great fun doing it, but it is where we are learning. So please don't mind a few (okay several) rough spots.
Any clues about impact running in Safari is most welcome.
I did see the discussion from 7 months ago. Was hoping things had changed.
Regards,
