Do we know a rough idea of when there will be another revision of Impact? It was mentioned that Dominic would be working on slopes next?

Impact 1.19 is coming at the end of this Month. And yes, there will be slopes as well as a bunch of other cool stuff.
It's surprisingly hard to implement slopes (i.e. more than 45° angles) in general manner and I'm still not entirely happy with my current solution, but I will make it work :)
You probably know about this, but I found a great guide for doing complex slopes (example in Flash but good for any 2D engine). This description has working examples and is easy to understand. Very clever.

I thought this question will never be asked hehehe.... Awesome to get the reply.
Why not use pseudo entities like triggers to simulate slopes? You could draw a complex sloped entity in weltmeister on top of the background and then resolve the collision between your mover and the sloped entity.

Dominic has said elsewhere that he wants to get it out before Christmas and screenshots posted on Twitter seem to suggest that Weltmeister at least can handle different slopes now.

Yes, it was delayed a bit but Dominic has said he wants to get it out before Christmas, and that it's the slope support that's slowing things down.
Anyone know what "cool stuff" is forthcoming besides slopes?

I don't think there's been anything else said, but slopes alone would be worth the update, IMO.
