Hello, developers. My name is Andrew Riley, composer and sound designer for Lucky Lion Studios -
http://LuckyLionStudios.com , a newly launched game audio service.
My website is home to a Royalty-Free Video Game Music Library -
http://luckylionstudios.com/royalty-free-video-game-music-library/ - currently containing 55 original compositions available for purchase and immediate download.
As a special promotion for the studio's launch, each song in the library is currently just $5.
If you're looking for custom music or sound design, I can work with most styles - just fill out the website's custom audio form and I'll get back to you with an estimate.
I can answer any additional questions here or through the contact form on my website. Thanks!
wow, i'm impressed by the quality! Will hit you up the next few days
The library has been updated with 5 new songs, bringing the total number to 65.
We are also in the process of completely revamping the layout of the library, so any suggestions would be very appreciated.

I suggest you post your site to
http://www.pointofimpactjs.com under Resources. ;)
Done, sir! Thank you for pointing that out for me, I'm not sure how I missed it :)
Looks like good stuff and a good deal. We'll definitely be looking at your stuff to maybe add to our game!
we got about 10 songs to use for our next few games. 5 bucks per song is AMAZING and the songs are really good.
I suggest throwing a few SNES/NES style 8-bit or chiptune tunes in there. Those are pretty hot and not that easy to find royalty free at this point.
Thank you both!
I've actually had quite a few 8-bit/retro request lately. I generally don't work in true chiptune, but at the very least I should be able to squeeze a few retro/synth style songs into my next library update.
I've updated the library with 5 more songs, bringing the total to 80 songs -- two of which are retro (Pekoe and Catching Lightning - not 8 bit, but definitely retro in style) due to request.
Really cool, thanks for the special and the quality is awesome as well.
Thank you!
The library has been updated with five more songs (Calco Caelum, Valor, Bring the Fire, No Worries, Anouk), bringing the total to 85 original compositions.

This is pretty awesome, I must say!
What file formats do you offer?

by Arantor
As per the FAQ:
Each purchase comes with one 24 bit, 44.1 kHz WAV file, and one 192 kbps MP3 file. Additional file types are available upon request using the contact form.
The FAQ also says that:
You are permitted to make adjustments to the file in order to increase or decrease the overall volume, adjust the loop or change file types.
So you can take the WAV and create a lower bitrate MP3 (to conserve downloads; it's changing the file type by definition) and also create an Ogg for those systems that need/use Ogg (or even CAF format for iOSImpact setups)
Thanks for answering that question for me, Arantor! That's correct.
The library has also been updated with five more songs, bringing the total to 90 original compositions, available for just $5 each!

Which are the new 5? I've listened to them all, and am not wishing to do so again! Do you have a blog where you highlight what is being added with each updated?

If it's like the last time (and it looks like it), the new 5 are the first on the list - Drive, Aura One, Aura Two, All Cut Up and Wasted.
Arantor has it right again.
We're working on a site redesign that allows for much more advanced sorting of music, playlists, etc. So you can actually sort by date added, genre, length, among other things. The playlist will then continue to play at the top of the page as you browse the site. It will also load much, much faster (one audio player at the top of the page as opposed to the current setup).
For now the newest songs sit at the top of the library. Not the most user friendly layout at the moment, I fully admit, but we're working hard on the redesign.
@LuckyLionStudios hey do you have retro music? I'm thinking chiptunes
Really nice service. Is there any way to prevent someone else buying the same song and it ending up in another game?
fugufish - I don't have any true chiptune tracks, but I do have several retro songs in the library including Aegis Sprint, GeoPRISM, Pekoe, This Will Hurt... and to a lesser extent, Catching Lightning, Bring the Fire, Wasted, Embers. I hope that helps.
stahlmanDesign - Currently the only way to ensure that the song remains exclusive to your game is to order custom music from me through the custom music form and request an exclusive license. I am toying with the idea in the future of allowing a "buyout" option for new songs in the library, but I'm still undecided on that.

Lots of good stuff here, for sure. If my game gets to the level of quality I am hoping, I will probably be grabbing 5 or 6 songs. :)
Thanks for taking the time to listen!
