I'm just getting in to Weltmeister. It's pretty sweet so far, but I can't figure out why everything is scaled up to 200% initially in the current release. I can't find where to change that. If I download the Pong source, it displays, as I would expect, at 100%. Seems like something is missing from the Weltmeister documentation, if this is a setting somewhere.

There is a setting. Look in config.js for the 'zoom' parameter. There was a thread discussing this a bit back, too.
there's also your browser's inherent zoom. for chrome it's like ctrl-mousewheel to zoom in or out.

Yup, found that too. Zoom in config.js fixed the prob. Dunno why the zoom is screwy right out of the box. Not fun for beginners to hunt around for that stuff.

Actually, it's not 'screwy', it is that way for a reason: relative precision of placement for entities.
By using the zoom, you get to place entities much more precisely than you would otherwise (even taking into account the snap-to-grid factor), though I'm not arguing it's unintuitive.

When I developed Impact, I had mostly retro pixel style games in mind - hence the default zoom
level of 2
. It was a shortsighted decision, really.
The next update will bring mousewheel zoom to Weltmeister :)
mousewheel zoom in weltmeister would be awesome. my last game had huge levels, and this would help immensely for even huger levels.

Awesome. I'm really impressed by Impact so far. Keep up the great work.
