I'm having a hard time finding information on how to create Impact plugins, is there documentation I can follow on that?

Not too much documentation, but I've worked on a few and it's really not too hard to figure out if you have an example to work from. Try looking at the Notification Manager

basicaly its a regular js function with a "wrapper" nothing more

Check out .inject(), which is great for plugins.

that just helps if you wana override core functions .. from impact
