Hiring what, exactly? Artists? Programmers? For what end?
Also, after what sort of time frame are you expecting to be able to pay the people you're hiring?
@Datamosh: Thanks for the link, made my day!

I'm trying to work out if this is someone trolling for teh lulz, or someone genuinely enthusiastic about making games but needs help. Sadly right now I can't tell which it is.
If you are not paying, then you are not hiring (by definition).
lol.

Well, yeah, I got that far ;) Thing is, I'm trying to see what exactly it is they're looking for because depending on what they're looking for, I might be able to point them in the right direction, if they're not trolling, that is.
If they don't pay for JC and coffee, then it's not worth it.
hi again, sorry i haven't gotten back,i went too bed :), we have 3 game makers spaces available and 2 artists spaces.

What sort of games? What's the target platform? Distribution method/payment model?
Were I to join the project as a coder, would I be implementing your designs or implementing my own designs? What sort of leeway is there in design? If I don't like an aspect of a design how far can it be altered?
Also,
http://www.lostgarden.com/2007/12/how-to-bootstrap-your-indie-art-needs.html is a relevant read at this point.
I can't fault him much for trying. Most of us probably have dreams of coming up with a game development team and coming up with the next Angry Birds. However people need to try harder if they expect any kind of interest to join a start-up and dedicate their time.
@arantor, interesting article.
the target platform is android and computers also some games you where to make would be fully your idea some a mix + I don't like Angry birds:)

So if it's fully my idea, what exactly would I be getting out of working with someone else?
If it's fully my idea, I can just go make it myself and ship it myself, right? I'm not really seeing any benefit to me to go 'work' for you.
the benefits= money, rights, glory and formerly lol little joke but ppl plz join

Please give me a reason to do so, then.
You've said yourself that you're not paying people yet, so no incentive for me to join right now.
What rights and glory can you deliver me that I can't go and obtain for myself, exactly?
Why should I join you rather than publish my own things?
hmm.... gd question but ill tell you idk all i want is a company is that too much to ask

So if you form a company, what exactly are you going to be doing?
This is what it comes down to: are you going to be making games as well or are you expecting others to do all the hard work for you?
This topic is a joke!
all i want is a company? I want a spaceship but I have nothing to offer!
@godlymodly: You are a little boy?

Just trying to add some levity to this somber thread. :)

If we're on the subject of things we want but cannot make happen, I'd like a world with no stupidity in it but I have nothing to offer in terms of educating users (except acerbic wit)
I want all of my app projects to be complete and ready for release.

Yes, but you're working on that, right? You're not just hoping magically they're going to be finished without any work on your part?
Yes, but so is our friend, in an iterative sort of way.
yes cause I'd make game just not with impact with gamemaker
